By submitting a business plan to the programme, each applicant is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
All applicants and their applications must meet the eligibility requirements (set out as Eligibility Requirements in the applicant's guideline document) in order to participate in Endeavour. To apply for entry into the programme, applicants must upload a completed Application Form online which includes the executive summary and written elevator pitch onto the website www.endeavour.biz. Submission of the application form will require the applicant to click on (a) Declaration and (b) Terms and Conditions, which will hereby deem the applicant to have accepted the declaration and terms and conditions of the Endeavour Programme.
Endeavour reserves the right at any time to disqualify participants who are found to have provided false or misleading information as part of their submission or otherwise in connection with their participation in Endeavour.
Endeavour reserves the right to reject any submission which relates to a product or business venture that is, or would be, unlawful or would otherwise reflect adversely on the reputation of Endeavour (as determined by Endeavour in its sole discretion).
All business templates and business plans, presentations and other submission materials must be authored or created by the applicant/participant. Any use of third party materials (whether copyrighted, trademarked or otherwise, including images) may only be used with the express consent of such third party. Participants must be prepared to submit evidence of such consent if so requested by Endeavour from time to time.
While Endeavour acknowledges that each submission is the property of the applicant, each applicant hereby agrees that Endeavour may produce such number of copies of the business plan, presentation, and other materials and may use such materials in any manner Endeavour sees fit for the purpose of the programme.
Participants must also make themselves available for, and consent to participation in, Endeavour's marketing and media plan for this programme, which may include participating in interviews and being photographed and the publication/broadcast of the same.
Participation in the programme does not constitute an endorsement or determination of future success by Endeavour, nor is it a guarantee of future funding or support by Endeavour.
Only successful applicants will be notified of their eligibility to progress to each successive stage. Endeavour has no obligation to return submissions.
Endeavour and its selection committee members reserve the right to judge and evaluate each application at their sole discretion. Endeavour reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding all aspects of this programme.
By entering this programme, each participant will be deemed to have waived any right of recourse against Endeavour, its selection committee members, volunteers and staff in respect of any claims which may arise out of the participant's involvement in this programme.
Endeavour, its selection committee members, volunteers and staff are not responsible for typographical, technical or other errors in the administration of this competition including (but not limited to) errors in advertising or rules, computer failure, selection and announcement of winners or the issuance of any placement.
Applicants will be asked to provide personal information when they apply to participate in the Programme. Applicants may also be asked to provide Endeavour with personal information from time to time in connection with the Programme. This personal information will be necessary for Endeavour to assist in the administration of the Programme and to provide services in connection with the Programme. Endeavour may sometimes use third party decision making systems to verify the information provided by Applicants.
The protection of intellectual property rights is the responsibility of each applicant. Applicants are urged to mark as confidential any portion of their entries which they consider to be of a proprietary or sensitive nature. Applicants should also be careful about disclosing any 'patentable concepts' in their entries. All members of the Endeavour Team have signed Data protection and confidentiality statements. Whilst Endeavour, will seek to ensure that applicants retain their rights to any intellectual property, we will not, due to the nature of the programme, guarantee that all mentors and stress testing panels will sign non-disclosure statements. Accordingly, Endeavour can give no assurances as to the protection of intellectual property and shall have no liability whatsoever to any applicant for any loss suffered.
Applicants are obliged to ensure that all information supplied to Endeavour is bona fide, up to date and accurate and they must notify Endeavour immediately of any change of name and address. Endeavour is committed to maintaining Applicants' personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that such personal information is kept secure against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or destruction. Except as required by law or in accordance with these terms and conditions, Applicants' personal information will not be passed by Endeavour to anyone without the permission of the such Applicants.
By accepting these terms and conditions Applicants agree that their personal information may be kept on an electronic database and that Endeavour can use such personal information in connection with the implementation of the Programme and to communicate with the Applicants on any matter relating to the provision of the Programme. Endeavour may disclose Applicants' personal information as required by law, regulation or any competent authority or agency including to authorities and agencies to investigate possible fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised activity. Applicants may contact Endeavour at anytime to request it to stop such use or further disclosure to other companies for such use.
If Endeavour discovers that the information it holds about Applicants is incorrect, it may have to suspend or cancel the Applicant's participation in the Programme until Endeavour can establish the correct information in order to protect Endeavour and the Applicant.
